Jimmy Godden, famous for running Dreamland in Margate from 1996 to its unfortunate eventual closure in 2003, has died at the age of 67.

The Heritage Lottery fund has awarded the Dreamland Trust £3million, in anticipation of opening a unique heritage amusement park in the seaside resort of Margate during 2013.
