A Scottish white-knuckle rollercoaster accident has resulted in a train derailing reports say.
The incident has happened at M&D’s Theme Park (sic), on the Tsunami rollercoaster. The travelling attraction is one of the venue’s landmark rides, having been at the park for several years.
Tsunami has been stated to hit speeds of up to 65 kilometres per hour, and is approximately 650 metres in length.
A spokesman for the park stated:
“A serious incident occurred at M&D’s today involving the Tsunami rollercoaster. We have all emergency services on site to assist. The theme park is closed until further notice.”
