The collaboration between the theme park and the legendary illusionist has re-imagined a classic ghost train attraction for the 21st century.

Confirmed to be opening in Spring this year, ‘Derren Brown’s Ghost Train’ promises “the world’s only fully immersive psychological attraction designed to manipulate the human mind”.

The ride will be situated in a themed abandoned Victorian warehouse, at the heart of which is a train carriage suspended three meters above the ground by chains.

The carriage can hold 60 guests per cycle, and the whole experience has been confirmed to last 13 minutes.

The 44-year-old magician told the Independent: “This is a major first for the industry and it might be the future of theme parks. We are moving toward a future where attractions not only give you a physical experience but also play with your mind and the concept of what is real.”

Development of the new attraction has taken three years, with over 1,000 individuals involved in the initial concept design and construction of the ride.
