The highly anticipated Annual Pass sale by the group is set to recieve several changes and new strategies for 2016.
The sale, which sees both the Standard and Premium annual passes visibly reduced in price, attracts the attention and renewal of many pass holders during the winter season.
This year however, the company have revealed new pricing and marketing schemes for the annual passes.
The Standard Annual Pass will begin at a price bracket of £99, as opposed to last year’s entry of £129. The price of a Standard Annual Pass outside of the sale usually resides at £169 per person.
As well as the reduced price of the Standard Annual Pass, the group have confirmed that a brand new television based marketing campaign will take place during the sale, touting the benefits of being a pass holder.
Various banners and other forms of advertising the perks will be appearing at attractions across the country in preparation for the sale, with a Merlin Entertainments spokesperson confirming to Airgates the sale expectations “are high”.
The sale will commence on Friday 1 January, and will run through until Monday 15th February.
Merlin Entertainments were unable to comment on the sale price of Premium Annual Passes and any further pricing options of the VIP Annual Pass at the time of this article’s publication.
