For many enthusiasts and thrill seekers, it would be the perfect start to a career.

There’d certainly be dips and turns, high points and low points, but overall they wouldn’t want to change their job for the world. That’s because Alton Towers have just created a new temporary post, to be a rollercoaster tester at the Staffordshire theme park.

The park are looking for a rollercoaster tester to try out the ‘Big Six’ attractions before the rides open to the public. The winner will also get the chance to blog about your time as a tester at the park during the Big Six Challenge and win an Alton Towers Resort Annual Pass to visit as many times as they like during the next year.

To enter, budding testers need to film a short video explaining why they should win,  and create a short paragraph explaining why they’re the best for the job. It should probably be noted that successful applicants won’t be paid; however buckets of adrenaline are sure to be provided! For more information, click here.
