Staffordshire-based Alton Towers have launched a new promotion for the 2015 season.

The challenge encourages visitors to experience the thrills of six rollercoasters, these being Nemesis, Oblivion, Air, Rita, Thirteen and The Smiler.  All app users who complete the challenge between 1st May and 30th September will be entitled to a free visit on November 4th, when peak crowds are expected. An additional chance to win can be found at the end of each attraction, where a ‘Selfie Station’ gives the chance for thrill-seekers to win a stay at either of the park’s resort hotels.

The app uses QR technology, similar to an app released by Alton Towers in recent times where guests could unlock exclusive sounds and music for their Scarefest event.

The ‘Alton Towers Big Six Challenge’ app is now available on iOS and Android devices.
