Top attractions recognised with VisitEngland accolades
A number of attractions in England have received VisitEngland accolades in recognition of their quality visitor experience on offer.
The accolades, introduced by VisitEngland for the first time in October 2014, recognise outstanding attractions going the extra mile to create an enjoyable and memorable experience for visitors.
57 attractions received awards this month, with five attractions getting the ‘Gold’ standard award. The attractions which received this recognition include Beaulieu, Blackpool Pleasure Beach and HM Tower of London.
Minister for Tourism, Helen Grant MP said:
“England has a huge number of world-class attractions to be enjoyed as part of a day trip, short weekend break or longer family holiday. This is a great way to showcase attractions going the extra mile to deliver a high-quality and unique visitor experience. Many congratulations to all those receiving the latest accolades.
Amanda Thompson, Managing Director of Blackpool Pleasure Beach Ltd, commented;
“We are delighted to have received this award and be recognised for all our efforts and commitment we put in to ensure our visitors have the best day imaginable at the Pleasure Beach.
“At Blackpool Pleasure Beach we strive towards being the best we can be, ensuring we provide all our visitors with the best quality service they deserve. Whether this be the food and beverage service or if assistance is needed throughout the day, we will be there to make sure you have a fun filled day at our amusement park.”
