In 2020, Paramount Park could open its gates in Kent. It will attract masses of visitors, current estimations are 50,000 a day.
London Paramount have announced that there will be 50 rides and attractions – all of which will be themed around their huge portfolio of films, TV shows and games – as well as content from Aardman Animation and the BBC.
Of the 50 attractions, 12 will be major rides. By the looks of things, we can expect a Starfleet command coaster themed around the iconic Star Trek film series.
We can also expect a Mission Impossible indoor ride.
But what more can we expect? Paramount have quietly announced their currently planned themed lands.
The themed lands that are currently planned to make up Paramount London are:
Land of Legends
Starfleet Command – we’re expecting to see a a major coaster here
Action Square – we’re expecting to see an indoor ride based on Mission Impossible here
Entertainment City – we’re expecting a theatre and cinema with huge capacities.
Paramount has also confirmed that they will use “state of the art” technology to reduce queue times.
Paramount have released a number of images depicting the proposed lands:
There is no confirmation about whether these pictures represent the actual lands. However: as our article had predicted, an ‘Adventure Isle’ land is present, a ‘Port’ land is present and a ‘Legends’ land is present.
