LEGOLAND® Windsor to hold Star Wars™ Day

By Michael Mander

LEGOLAND® Windsor, a family Theme Park based around the popular children’s toy, will hold three exciting days based on their Star Wars™ collection of toys.

The event will take place between 3-5 May, as 4 May is widely celebrated as Star Wars™ Day (May the Fourth…).

On their website, LEGOLAND® promises: “Travel across your favourite planets in the LEGO® Star Wars™ Miniland model display, whilst also having a chance to train your lightsabre skills like a true Padawan. Build LEGO models and mosaics of your favourite interplanetary characters brick by brick. Be creative and show off your best Star Wars™ outfit. You will have the amazing opportunity to see a life-size replica of a Podracer. There will also be daily marches of the 501st Garrison, LEGO Star Wars™ films shown in The Imagination Theatre, LEGO Star Wars™ meet and greets, and more!”

There will also be Darth Vader figures hidden among the displays in Miniland.

Also, children and adults will be able to sit in a Podracer replica, as well as participate in Young Jedi training (although that one is just for children!)

Sounds like an exciting event, like many of Merlin’s great events up and down the country – held regularly.
