St Jude has battered the UK: winds of up to 99mph knocked down trees and caused havoc on the roads. Theme parks across the nation have been affected, we’ll be compiling the list here:

Thorpe Park

Due to overnight storm damage, Thorpe Park intended to open at midday. They opened at 11:30am, thanks to the hard work of their team. All rides are now available.

Adventure Island

The Southend park will open at the later time of midday, and close at 5pm.

Chessington World of Adventures

CWOA will be open as usual today, but high-level rides will have a delayed opening in order to carry out extra checks. Currently, Safari Skyway is closed.

Drusillas Park

Currently closed due to a power cut.

Pleasurewood Hills

Closed all day due to storm damage.

All parks open as usual, but the Kent Sky Shuttle is not currently operating.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Open as usual, however the park has warned taller rides will be shut if wind speeds hit 40mph or more.

Paultons Park

Open as usual, though some rides will be closed until the weather calms down.

UPDATE: Brean Leisure Park

Due to torrential rain, Fun City will be closed. Brean Splash will be open.

We have done our best to list all affected theme parks. Parks operating as usual (including Oakwood and Alton Towers) have not been listed.
