One of Blackpool’s three piers are selling two of their major thrill-seeking attractions as part of a new renovation scheme.

A reverse bungee by the name of Skyscreamer, and ‘Skycoaster‘, a sea-based bungee swing are both up for sale it has been announced. Also confirmed for sale is a childrens’ Spider Mountain attraction which is advertised as new by Adrenaline Zone – the operators of numerous thrill-orientated attractions on the seafront.

The Skycoaster (the most unique offering) meanwhile goes by the following definition on South Piers’ website;

“You and two friends are dropped from a height of 120ft (38m), enjoying 15ft of free-fall and a vast swing which takes you less than 6ft from the pier decking at around 80mph. You’ll swoop out over the sea, enjoying another moment of weightlessness before our ground crew retrieve you and put you back on solid ground.”

South Pier have previously announced plans for a full renovation of the main pier pavillion, with a new facade in upcoming years.
