Playtime begins as first minifigures enter Legoland Hotel

LEGO brick fans are celebrating after the opening of the UK’s first LEGO themed accommodation in Windsor.

Officially opened with a glitzy celebrity event on March 17th, the Legoland Hotel is located on the external perimeter of the newly renamed Legoland Windsor Resort.

With a number of themed rooms, the new hotel will cater for both for families visiting Windsor and the Legoland Park. Based on themes found in the adjacent attraction, guests can stay in rooms with large Lego models and furniture – including ‘Adventure’, ‘Pirate’ and ‘Kingdom’ rooms.

Being a destination aimed at children, the hotel has a number of features to keep the little ones occupied – and to give their parents a well deserved break! A Lego Pirate themed indoor water area brings water fun with interactive Lego models and tipping buckets, whilst dryer kids can have fun in the kingdom castle based play area.

The new hotel has also opened up new dining locations for Legoland, including Bricks Family Restaurant which is open for breakfast and dinner Monday through to Saturday, with an additional Sunday lunch.

Catering for the upper age brackets of the family,The Skyline Bar serves cocktails, alcoholic beverages and soft drinks late into the night.

Below is a 3D realisation of the hotel, looking into the main features of the new development.
