Twinlakes set to make a splash

The new Splash Park guarantees wet fun in sunny weather.

The new Susanoo Splash Park guarantees wet fun in sunny weather with its many features.

Twinlakes has made investments in two new water attractions for 2011, to continue enhance visitor experience at one of Leicestershire’s top attractions . Their new Susanoo Splash Zone, which opened on 1st August was opened by Sam and Amy from radio station Gem106 FM – and has plenty of fountains and slides for children. Parents meanwhile can watch from nearby comfy sun loungers. Excavation work for the area started on May 27th, making sure that the splash zone was ready in time for the British summer weather.

Adding to the family park’s water ride portfolio is their new Log Flume – themed around the oriental Dragon Falls. A brand new ride, the Log Flume plunges rides 22ft into a watery channel, guaranteeing that riders will get wet – if not soaked! Both attractions are located within the Labyrinth Venture Zone of the park, which is themed around the many famous figures of Ancient Rome.

Located in Melton Mowbray, Twinlakes also has many other water-based rides perfect for hot temperatures such as pedalo and rowing boats, with a range of undercover attractions suitable for all weather.
